Dans le sillage de son dernier album « Follow the Eye » (2011), le saxophoniste luxembourgeois Maxime Bender a tenté un pas décisif de plus en dehors des sentiers battus du jazz d’aujourd’hui. La sécurité des structures harmoniques et rythmiques habituelles substituées par une approche plus fraîche et novatrice, ouvrant de nouveaux espaces de composition spontanée. Avec son nouveau quartette international il vise une communication musicale directe et instantanée, toujours à la recherche d'un flux illimité d'énergie créatrice. Manu Codjia est un des guitaristes les plus talentueux, les plus actifs et plus sollicités de la scène jazz française actuelle. Anne Paceo a entamé elle aussi une carrière exceptionnelle, à la batterie en compagnie de nombreuses icônes du jazz d’aujourd’hui, dont notamment Rhoda Scott, Michel Legrand ou Rick Margitza, et comme leader de son propre groupe triphase.

The saxophonist Maxime Bender is one of the most versatile Luxembourgish jazz musicians. He likes to experiment, take bold steps and definitely move away from the typical jazz routine, transforming his material into something fresher, freer, newer and more exciting, With his new international quartet composed of young and most promising talents in jazz, he opens up new spaces of direct and instant musical communication, always aiming for a totally uninhibited flow of creative energy. Manu Codjia is an extremely active sideman on the French jazz scene and one of the most original guitarists playing jazz anywhere, always leaving an indelible mark of his musical identity. Anne Paceo is leading an exceptional career, as leader of her own band "triphase" and as a drummer with the cream of international jazz: Rhoda Scott, Michel Legrand or Rick Margitza. She received several awards such as "Victoire du Jazz 2011 and "Django d’Or 2009". The bassist Oliver Lutz won a.o. the German award "Jugend Jazzt 2009" and the „Convento Jazz Award 2011“.
