  • "I want to make music that breathes hope back into your body." With these words, the talented Norwegian singer-songwriter Maria Solheim invites you to an unforgettable concert evening at the opderschmelz cultural centre.

With her fragile yet clear voice, accompanied by minimalist instrumentation, she already succeeded in winning a loyal fan base with her debut album "Barefoot". Maria Solheim never bets on showmanship or viral marketing coups, but on consistently good music and a pleasant serenity. Her songs are honest and deal with topics like sorrow and joy, doubt and faith, fear and security.

With her sincere and heartfelt music, she has won a firm place in the hearts of her fans. In 2020, Maria Solheim was awarded the Norwegian Grammy. A year later, she released the critically acclaimed album "The Bird Has Flown".

The audience can look forward to touching melodies and profound lyrics without overloaded staging.
